SRINAGAR: Two young individuals sustained injuries in a knife attack that occurred in the Bemina locality of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Wednesday.
Sources said that Henan Zahoor Bazaz and Mehran Mushtaq, were both assaulted and injured at approximately 4:30 pm in Bemina.
They were subsequently transported to a medical facility for treatment, where their condition is reported to be stable.
In the meantime, an official said that the accused, believed to hail from Kupwara, is presently evading capture but is expected to be apprehended in the near future.
Further inquiries into the matter are underway. (KS)
