Pulwama, The Kashmir Radar: A Government High School building in Payir village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district was damaged in a fire incident on Thursday evening.
Soon after the breakout of the fire, fire and emergency team was rushed to the spot to bring the flames under control. After hectic efforts the team with the assistance of locals brought the fire under control to avert any major damage.
Timely intervention of locals saved other nearby buildings of the school from the blaze.
“The cause of the fire was not immediately known and no one was injured in the incident,” said Ajaz Rehmani, a local resident.
