Patient dies as Batra Hospital Jammu denied oxygen supply, allege relatives
Jammu, 1- May, The Kashmir Radar: In what could be called “medical negligence,” relatives of a patient admitted in Batra hospital Jammu alleged that the patient who was admitted a few days back in the hospital was denied oxygen supply since yesterday evening due to which the patient lost her battle to COVID-19.
Relatives of the patient while talking to Daily Taskeen alleged that despite repeated requests, the hospital administration showed reluctance in providing the oxygen supply even if adequate oxygen was available in the hospital as per a message received by one the relatives of the deceased from CMO’s office.
The relatives were seen protesting in the premises of Batra hospital after they learned about the death of their family member who had tested positive for COVID and was later admitted in the hospital due to lower oxygen saturation.
