Woman Among Two Arrested For Stealing Money From Patients, Attendants

SRINAGAR: Police on Monday said to have arrested two Pick Pockets including a woman from GMC Baramulla and also recovered stolen cash from their possession.

In a statement, a police spokesman said that police under the supervision of Altaf Ahmad-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by Inspr Vilayat Hussain SHO PS Baramulla arrested two Pick Pockets including female identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Gojree S/O Bashir Ahmad Gojree resident of Drangbal, and Manesha resident of New Plot Jammu A/P Drangbal Baramulla at GMC Baramulla and has recovered stolen cash from their possession.

He said, these pick pockets were stealing money from patients and their attendants visiting GMC and were taking advantage of huge flow of patients to GMC Baramulla.

Case under relevant sections of law were registered in Police Station Baramulla and investigation set in motion, he said.(KS)
