Comparison Of Pass Percentage Between Private And Goverment Schools In 12th Class Results

The debate between the comparison of private and government educational institutes will go on till eternity. Both have their own significance in their respective fields. Both types of institutes have much to nurture and reproduce the future champions. Many feel that private schools are better than government schools, is that true?

The fierce competition between private and goverment schools has picked up pace in the recent past as the dismal performance of goverment schools is taken cognizance of by the authorities with a recent example of District Anantnag where the entire staff of a goverment school was put under suspension for production zero percent result in 10 class examination.

The goverment schools have started performing better in recent years after the overhaul of the traditional pedagogy and recruitment of young highly qualified teachers.

Let’s compare the result percentage between Goverment and private schools of the recently declared 12th class results by the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education.

The pass percentage in goverment schools in Anantnag shot up to 80 percent and the pass percentage of private schools was 95 percent.

In Dooru, it was 75 percent for goverment schools and 87 percent for private schools.

In Budgam, the result percentage of goverment schools was 79 percent as compared to 95 percent in private schools.

In Beerwah, it was 74 percent in goverment schools while 98 percent for private schools.

In Bandipora, 66 percent in goverment schools and 94 percent in private schools.

In Sumbal, 64 percent in goverment schools and 86 percent in private schools.

In Baramulla, 71 percent in government schools and 88 percent in private schools.

In Uri, 53 percent in goverment schools and 100 percent in private schools.

In Sopore, 69 percent in goverment schools and 87 percent in private schools.

In Ganderbal, 64 percent in goverment schools and 88 percent in private schools.

In Kulgam, 77 percent in goverment schools and 97 percent in private schools.

In Kupwara, 68 percent in goverment schools and 83 percent in private schools.

In Tangdhar, 71 percent in goverment schools and 100 percent in private schools.

In Pulwama, 82 percent in goverment schools and 82 percent in private schools.

In Pampore, 76 percent in goverment schools and 95 percent in private schools.

In Shopian, 77 percent in goverment schools and 81 percent in private schools.

In Srinagar, 82 percent in goverment schools and 88 percent in private schools.

Overall all pass percentage of Kokernag, Chrar-e-Sharif, Magam, Gurez and Langate was 75, 63, 66, 44, and 77 percent respectively.

Overall pass percentage of Goverment schools was 74 percent and 89 percent for private schools.
