Pulwama Boy Shines In National Level Examination, Qualifies AME (CET)

Pulwama: A boy from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district has achieved a feat by qualifying AME CET Exam, the results of which were announced recently.
Haris Maqbool from Zagigam village of Pulwama, after ranking 127th in the exam, joined the group of few young Kashmiri students to have qualified the Common Entrance Test for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME CET), a national level examination.
This year the test was again taken online instead of offline due to the threat of Coronavirus.
It may be recalled that last year a boy namely Owais Nazir Dar from CB Nath Pulwama also qualified the same examination.
“He made the whole family and our village proud. Getting a rank of 127 is big achievement among lakhs of students.” said by Dr Gulzar Nayik, one of the villager with a smile on his face.
It is pertitent to mention that Students in valley usually choose Engineering, Medical Science, agricultural Science or Computer Science but only few percent choose Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering.
