Stanford University enlists Dr. Pervaiz from Pulwama among top scientists

Bringing laurels to the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, a young scientist, Dr. Pervaiz Ahmad has been enlisted in the top two percent scientists of 2020 by Standford University.

Hailing from Payar village of South kashmir’s Pulwama district, Dr. Pervaiz completed his Masters degree in Botany from Jamia Hamdard university New Delhi and pursued his Phd from the prestigious IIT Delhi and Post Doc Fellowship From ICGEB (International Concil For Genetic Engineering And Biotechnology).

Talking to Kashmir Radar, Dr. Pervaiz said that he has published 175 International Research papers (according to Web of Science).

Moreover, he has also Published 60 Book Chapters including 25 books with international publishers like Elsevier, Springer, John Wiley etc.

Talking about Scientific citations, he said that “he has more than 10000 citations to his credit, with h-index=55 and i10-index=180.
