The Kashmir Radar, 16-6-2022: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court has stayed the notification vide 3 of 2022 dated 26.5.2022 of the Services Selection Board for posts of Panchayat Secretary (Level 2) in Rural Development Department.
The advertisement notice came to be challenged by the petitioners (Gram Rozgar Sahayak’s) on the ground that the posts which have been advertised are being held by them and they are working on these posts from past 13 years.
They claim that their regularization against the posts of panchayat secretary is genuine and that the Government authorities without taking final call on the issue are trying to fill up the posts in question and ousting the petitioners in order to frustrate their rights.
The honourable court has now directed the department not to fill up any vacancy of Panchayat Secretary (level – 2) unless and untill the case of petitioners are considered for regularization. District wise stay orders for Jammu division have already been issued by the Honourable Court, copies of which lie with The Kashmir Radar.
