K- Internet Tags Elon Musk, Asks Him To Buy JK Bank as its Mpay glitches

Soon after the Mpay suffered a massive technical glitch just a few days ahead of Eid, people in Jammu and Kashmir took to Twitter and other social media platforms and called out the Jammu and Kashmir Bank for not coming up to the expectations of its customers.

The outage invited a meme fest with some of the twitter users tagging Elon Musk to buy the Jammu and Kashmir bank so that its application used for online transactions works smoothly.

The noticeable snag in the application left its users fuming as people prefer making online transactions than carrying cash in their pockets in the present digital times.

Another social media user Hashtagged tech giant Elon Musk and trolled the bank in his own way.

Zubair Masoodi, a social media user tried to teach the Bank, the technicality of operating a failure free software.

Soon after the massive outrage from its customers, J&K Bank’s IT President in a statement said, “While we feel delighted in having successfully served lakhs of our esteemed customers ahead of this auspicious Eid occasion, we equally feel pained for having not been able to come up to the expectations of a section of our valuable customers, who experienced failed transactions or time-outs due to unprecedented high usage of the digital channels”.

Although the services have been restored by the bank’s IT team, the President IT regretted the inconvenience the outages have caused to many of the customers.

“Further, let me assure you that the entire situation is being monitored at the highest level in the Bank and necessary measures are already afoot to ensure that our valuable customers don’t have to face any such situation in future. As of now, our mobile banking application, ATMs and all other digital channels are up and running for the convenience of our customers”, he added.

J&K Bank mPay is a mobile application that allows the customers of the bank to access their bank account(s) using a smart phone. Customers can view account related information, transfer funds, pay bills and recharge their mobile and a lot more using this application.
