BDO Kakapora Initiates Action Against News Portal For Spreading Fake News

Pulwama – Block Development Officer Kakapora has taken cognizance of a News item published by a News Agency namely CNS Kashmir for uploading a fake News about the absence of employees in block headquarter Kakapora.
In a letter written to The District Magistrate Pulwama, the concerned BDO maintains that he along with all other employee’s were present at block headquarters on 24-08-2022 and he had called a review meeting to take a detailed review of all ongoing works under different schemes.
In addition to the fake news about the absence of employees, the protest of Sarpanches too was Misquoted/misrepresented by the News Agency in question.
According to the official statement issued by the Block Development Officer, the Sarpanches protesting in the premises of the block office were actually protesting in demand of an Assistant Engineer (AE) (REW) who is on medical leave owing to his health conditions.
Taking a strong note of these baseless allegations, the concerned BDO has written a letter to the District Magistrate and has requested him to initiate action as warranted under law against the News Agency.
Further, police station Kakapora has also been informed to Lodge an FIR against CNS Kashmir.
