Video of a butcher, purportedly slicing a leg from a dead cow in Kulgam area of Jammu and Kashmir is making rounds on social media for obvious reasons and has left people in Awe.
A video shot by an unknown social media user shows a man slicing a leg from a dead carcass of a cow. The man in the video can clearly be seen using his knife for the purpose described by the man who was shooting the video.
The man who shot the video goes on to say that another man in a load carrier is waiting for the butcher to finish his job and this chunk of meat they sliced from the cow will now be sold by them in the market.
Though the man for reasons only known to him hesitates in sharing the exact location of the incident for which he too was severely criticised as people demanded that location too should have been shared so that people from that particular area could have received the information well in time.
The authenticity of the video could not be verified by us.
It is pertinent to mention that hundreds of cows recently died due to the deadly Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) for which goverment of Jammu and Kashmir had to issue an advisory about consumption of meat during this period.
