.Ganderbal: District Development Commissioner Ganderbal Dr. Piyush Singla chaired a meeting of Rent Assessment Committee (RAC).
During the meeting DDC held a detailed discussion with officers of different departments which are functioning from rented accommodations in the district and with the owners of these buildings.
GANDERBAL, NOVEMBER 30:- District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush Singla chaired a meeting of Rent Assessment Committee (RAC) here today.
During the meeting DDC held a detailed discussion with officers of different departments which are functioning from rented accommodations in the district and with the owners of these buildings.
A total of 8 cases came under discussion which was pertaining to different departments running in private buildings.
After a detailed deliberation the committee approved 6 cases. The DDC directed the concerned officers to expedite the payment of rents as per the rates approved in the meeting.
During the meeting Dr. Singla directed the officers to rationalize and maximize the use of government buildings so that Government expenditure on rental front can be saved for developmental purposes.
Moreover departments were directed to expedite the process of assessment of rent of long pending cases so that the owners of the building may not suffer.
ACR Ganderbal N.A Malik, Joint Director Planning Ganderbal, Mohd Yaseen, Superintendent Engineer R&B , District Officers from various departments, and owners of the buildings were also present in the meeting.
