Pulwama: Jammu and Kashmir Handicapped Association on Saturday held a protest demonstration here in Pulwama demanding implementation of disability Act in the state.
Scores of differently-abled people assembled in Shaheed Park Pulwama and staged demonstrations over the alleged government failure to implement the Disability Act in the state.
The Protestors later marched towards Deputy Commissioners Office and presented a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner Pulwama. In addition to the implementation of the disability Act they further demanded that all the differently-abled persons should be enlisted in BPL list.
