JAC of Engineering Graduates Association welcomes Sh. M Raju (IAS) as Comm. Secretary, Jal Shakti Department
PRESS STATEMENT
Joint Action Committee of Engineering Graduates Associations welcomed Sh. M Raju (IAS) as Commissioner / Secretary, Jal Shakti Department for taking over the charge of the department as the administrative secretary. Assured full support and cooperation, expressed hope that the Commissioner Jal Shakti Department will continue his engineer friendly initiatives in resolving the issues of REGULARIZATION on one time basis, SRO FOR ACP Scheme, Filling up of all vacancies in Jal Shakti department.
A Delegation of Joint Action Committee (JAC) of various engineering graduates associations of CIVIL, MECHANICAL and ELECTRICAL wings lead by its Chairman Er. Firdous Ahad Bhat (President, JK MEGA) greeted the Commissioner / Secretary Jal Shakti Department, Sh. M Raju (IAS) for taking over the charge as the administrative Secretary of the department and termed this decision of the government as a good omen for the engineering fraternity.
The delegation called on the Commissioner / Secretary, Jal Shakti Department in his office chambers at Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, maintaining all SOP’s of Covid-19 pandemic. The delegation welcomed Sh. M Raju (IAS) for taking over the charge of the department and assured him full support and cooperation from the Engineering Associations in realizing the dream of the development of the Union Territory of J&K. The delegation requested the Commissioner / Secretary to continue the mission of resolving the legitimate and genuine issues of the engineers which he had initiated as the administrative Secretary of the Power Development Department.
The JAC apprised the Commissioner / Secretary, Jal Shakti Department of the long pending Issues of fast tracking of the Regularization of in-charge placements, issuance of SRO for the ACP Scheme, filling up of the vacancies at different levels and rationalization of the engineering services which includes maintenance of a common cadre and expansion of the engineering infrastructure especially in Mechanical wing of Jal Shakti Department.
The Commissioner / Secretary, Jal Shakti Department gave a patient hearing to the delegation and thanked the delegation for welcoming him as the administrative Secretary of the Jal Shakti Department and also assured them of redressal of all the genuine issues of the engineers in a time bound manner. The delegation thanked the Commissioner Secretary, Jal Shakti Department for giving them a patient hearing and for assuring them of the redressal of the long pending issues of the engineers on priority. The delegation included Er. Farooq Ahmed Ganai (President, JK CEGA), Er. Munshi Majid Ali (President, JK EEGA), Er. Ashaaq Ah. Ashaq (Gen. Secy., JK CEGA) and Er. Muzaffar Ahmad Jan (Member, JK CEGA).
