Bandipora Oct, 14 : A man has been critically injured after he was stabbed while performing Azaan in Bagh area of North kashmir’s Bandipora District.
An official told that a man aged 75 years identified as Ali Mohammad Malik was performing Azaan for Maghrib salah when an unknown man stabbed him with axe.
The injured has been taken to nearby district hospital Bandipora for treatment and later was refered to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
“We are ascertained the facts and will initiate legal action as per the law, police”, official said.
