As the second wave of COVID-19 continues to make life more miserable for people in Kashmir, many kind hearted Samaritans are going the extra mile to help those in need.

Mukhtar Ahmad Wani from Bonera and Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir from Rajpora Pulwama
are providing food to the COVID positive patients who are admitted in district hospital Pulwama.

While speaking to The Kashmir Radar, Mukhtar said that, “he is very happy to help the needy and it is the best he can do for the people of his district in present times of crisis.”

“After consulting my friend Imtiyaz Ahmad, I decided to help the patients in district hospital, because I thought they deserve the best food. Said Mukhtar Ahmad.

“We managed some money from our own pockets, we didn’t collect money from the people in our villages. The money we had was enough to feed the patients in the hospital.” Said Imtiyaz Ahmad.

Apart from meal distribution both of them are active in distributing ration kits at many places to those who are in home isolation and have nobody at home who can cook for them.
