A 10-year-old boy died after he was run over by a speeding truck on the Batote-Kishtwar National Highway in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda on Wednesday.
In a CCTV footage, several people are seen walking on the roadside. A mother and her son emerge from the crowd. The boy runs to the road while his mother chases him. Suddenly, a speeding truck comes and hits the boy.
Due to the impact, the child is thrown away at some distance and people rush to him as he falls down on the ground.
The boy succumbed to his injuries at the Government Medical College, Doda on Thursday.
