A video footage showing a teacher brutally thrashing a student in one of the coaching centres in Srinagar went viral after the video was purportedly filmed by one of the colleagues of the student and the same was shared multiple times on various social networking platforms.
The teacher later identified as Fayaz Ahmad Zewali who is said to be the chemistry teacher in the said coaching centre.
The teacher can be seen repeatedly and mercilessly slapping the student multiple times and doesn’t even provide the student a chance to react.
“Apko nay permission kiun nai mangi” are the words that can be heard clearly in the video.
Social media users now demand a strict action against the teacher and some users have mentioned The Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, The mayor Srinagar in their tweets asking them to investigate the matter and take appropriate action against the teacher.
