Pulwama: Internet is something we need in the times of distress or natural calamities to get the information about latest happenings.
Weather advisories issued by district administration saves lives and keeps us informed.
On 6th Feb. the internet services were snapped in district Pulwama after an encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Chakora Area of south Kashmirs Pulwama district in which one local militant was killed.
When the encounter broke out, the weather had already taken a turn and the snow had started to accumulate making it difficult for even the locals to come out and disturb the law and order in the area.
Paranoia! Is all that forces the authorities to snap the internet services even in the times when people need it the most.
“Who would dare to come out and pelt stones in such a weather, snapping internet is something immature on part of authorities in such adverse conditions” said a scholar wishing anonymity.
“We always respect what authorities do to prevent any law and order problem but today I cant repeat what I just said because snapping internet for such a long period of time is something insane” said Mudacer Azam a student.
