Dr. Iram’s Dream Of Becoming An IAS Officer Comes True

After completing her MBBS in the year 2020, Dr. Iram wanted to qualify the prestigious UPSC exam, and finally her dedication and determination suprised her on Tuesday, when she came to know that she has qualified UPSC exam.
Daughter of Nisar Ahmad and Shamim Akhter, Dr Iram hails from remote Leeran village of Darhal, Rajouri, and they presently live in Jammu.
“I am overwhelmed and joyous over the success,” she said. “I wanted to serve my society as a civil servant. Now I will be able to do so.”
Nisar Ahmad, a retired Executive Engineer of the Power Development Department (PDD), while expressing joy, said that his daughter always dreamt of qualifying the UPSC exam and sonn after completing her MBBS course, she started preparing for the UPSC exams.
Iram had full family support and her parents particularly motivated her to follow her dream. “She started self-study as preparation for civil studies and we fully supported her and now she has qualified the UPSC exam,” Ahmad said.
