Pulwama: PDP MLA Mr. Muhammad Khalil Bandh has expressed his anguish over the closure of highway for two days.
Talking to Kashmir Radar at his official residence in Pulwama, Mr. Bandh said that the order to ban the traffic movement needs to be objected to by one and all and there should be a collective demand by all stakeholders for its revocation.
“The order is a provocation,” he said.
Mr. Bandh said that it is the responsibility of the Governor Administration to devise a mechanism which does not interfere with the movement of civilian traffic and disrupt normal life.
He further said that Transport is the life line of growth and when it is choked, people will face the shortage of goods which are imported from different parts of India. Shortage of goods will lead to a hike in prices and ultimately it will lead to the crisis in the state.
Seeking its immediate revocation, He said, “It’s a decision taken in haste and and an attempt to provoke the people of the state.”
