The Praiseworthy Efforts Of Nadiya Mir To Fight Again Child Sex Abuse

I am Ms. Nadiya Mir from District Budgam. I am a social activist as well as an engineering student. I am the founder of “Not Afraid” organization which is working on child sexual abuse.

I visit schools in our valley to spread awareness. I raise awareness by distributing booklets containing information about preventive measures about child sex abuse. And I got really great response from school and as well as the children.

In March, I got the training of self defence from Chandigarh and after I came back to Kashmir I again started my awareness programmes in tandem with teaching the self defence techniques to the students.

I stand for this. I strongly stand against the abusing a child. At early, I used to organise events but after the child abuse took over my valley, I quit and started doing something different.

And I strongly believe that, “To terrify children with the image of hell, to consider women an inferior creation—is that good for the world?” “One believes things because one has been conditioned to believe them.” “Childhood should be carefree, playing in the sun; not living a nightmare in the darkness of the soul.

After completing my engineering, I started my fight against human trafficking and child sexual exploitation.

I am the founder of “Not Afraid” an organization that works mainly for the annulment of child , providing counseling to children and their families, by organising awareness programs through social media platforms.
