This Kashmir Based Journalist Is Making Headlines After Her Unique Way of Reporting An Issue Went Viral

A Kashmir based journalist, working for various reputed news channels suprised everyone by her unique way of reporting the pathetic condition of a waterlogged road in district Anantnag.
K.P road at Laizbal area of Anantnag has been reported several times by various journalists for its dilapidated condition, but finally it took a female journalist and a fishing rod which made ripples across the social media platforms and probably the administration too may have taken cognizance of the condition of the road by now.
Gazaala, while reporting about the condition of the road, took a fishing rod and started fishing in the water logged area of the road which attracted attention of the pedestrians who later appreciated and supported her in sending out a message to the district administration. The video which is now viral on social media has fetched views and reactions in lakhs.
“As soon as I saw my video creating waves on Facebook, I felt elated and more motivated by the love and response shown by the people.” Said Gazaala Nisar while talking to The Kashmir Radar.
Gazaala Nisar, a postgraduate in Mass Com and Journalism from Islamic University of Science and Technology Awantipora, hosts the famous ‘Krishi Darshan’ at Doordarshan Srinagar. She also works as a full time journalist for ‘Live Wire‘ – a Jammu based news portal and reports from Anantnag for Munsif TV and ETv Bharat as well.
