Burying rivalries, Pakistani politicians and celebs offer help to India

Burying all political rivalries, Pakistani celebrities and politicians have spoken their hearts out and offered all help to India during the present times of crisis when India is witnessing hundreds of casualties because of the mutant Coronavirus.

India and Pakistan have seen various political conflicts since decades and Kashmir being the main cause of the rivalry.

COVID-19 second wave has unleashed hell and uncertainties are looming high in India as more than 3 lakh people have tested positive and hundreds of people have lost their lives mostly because of lack of oxygen in the country’s hospitals.

Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan in a tweet expressed his solidarity with India by offering every kind of help that Pakistan can afford, “I want to express our solidarity with people of India as they battle a dangerous wave of COVID19. Our prayers for speedy recovery go to all those suffering from pandemic in our neighbourhood & world. We must fight this global challenge confronting humanity together” tweeted Imran Khan.

Soon after his tweet Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Pakistan’s foreign minister tweeted and said, “Pakistan has officially offered relief and support to India including ventilators, Bi PAP, digital X-ray machines, PPE kits and other related items. We believe in policy of humanity first.”

Famous cricketer, Shahid Afridi also tweeted about the suffering Indian people are going through, “My sympathy and prayers for those who are suffering. This reflects how it is important for a global response to a disease. Response of Pakistani citizens reflect that in the end sanity and humanity wins.” Tweeted Shahid Afridi.
