Srinagar police have arrested a youth namely Zaid Feroz of Old Barzulla Srinagar, on charges of raping a 12 year old child.
The accused is said to be the close relative of victim girl child.
“One Accused namely Zaid Feroz of old barzulla, Srinagar aged 22 years arrested for raping a 12 year old child (name withheld). The accused is close relative of victim girl child. FIR no 56/2023 under sections 5, 6 of POCSO act registered in Sadar PS & investigation started.” Tweeted Srinagar Police.
