Bear on the Loose in Pulwama! Residents Urged to Stay Vigilant
Residents of the Gundel area of Drabgam village in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district are on high alert after a wild animal, possibly a bear, was spotted in the area on Tuesday.
The animal was reportedly seen in an open field close to the village.
In the meantime, residents have been advised to stay indoors and avoid venturing out after dark. They have also been asked to keep their livestock safe and not to leave any food scraps outside their homes.
This is the second time in recent months that a wild animal has been spotted in the Pulwama district. In November, a leopard was seen in the Tral area, triggering panic among residents.
