District hospital Pulwama has recently been dedicated exclusively to “COVID care only.”

In a recent statement by the medical superintendent the hospital has closed its OPD and some emergency services like gynaecology have been shifted to a private nursing home in Gangoo village of Pulwama.

The hospital administration has time and again appealed people not to visit the hospital unnecessarily keeping in view the deadly second wave of COVID-19 and for the consultation of minor ailments hospital administration today made public the contact numbers of all the doctors available in the hospital who can be contacted for any minor ailment or advice.
