Pulwama: There are many places in Jammu & Kashmir which are known worldwide for their beauty and charm. The natural beauty at places like Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Kokernag, Nishat, Shalimar, Dal Lake et cetera can not be explained in words.
On the other side, we have some equally mesmerizing places in south Kashmir’s Pulwama but they have remained undeveloped due to the apathy of the government authorities. These places await the much needed government attention so as to attract tourists on the one hand and generate much needed employment on the other.
One such place is Musarmarg C.B. Nath Argicheck which is a beautiful place with a young forest cover and a mesmerizing landscape. The place is just 14 km away from the main town of Pulwama.
On visiting the place, we got to know from the locals that a good number of young boys frequently come to play cricket in the ground there which is covered by trees from all sides, thereby offering a soothing experience to the visitors.
“This ground has been awaiting government attention since years,” said some local people.
One of the locals said, “Even cricket tournaments are being organized here in which youth from as far as Srinagar participate.”
The local people of Musarmarg appealed the authorities to focus on this place so as to develop it as well as provide help to develop the cricket ground so as to attract more and more sports lovers.
