Ganderbal: Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal Shafqat Iqbal flagged off a group of 27 students of district Ganderbal, for an exchange tour programme to Delhi under Samagra Shiksha scheme.
Chief Education Officer Ganderbal, Sheikh Gayas-Ul-Din and other officials of education department were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, ADDC said that the tour aims at educating students and to develop knowledge of rich culture and heritage of the country among students. He said that the major objectives of the scheme are the provision of quality education and enhancing the learning outcomes of students by way of sharing the knowledge and information with students of other states.
While interacting with the students, ADDC exhorted upon them to optimally utilize this opportunity to add to their knowledge about the rich culture and traditions of the country.
