Ganderbal: The annual Gangbal Yatra in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district was today morning flagged off by DDC Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush Singla and SSP Ganderbal, Khalil Poswal in the presence of CO 24RR and many other officers of the district administration.
A group of pilgrims, most of which were Kashmiri Pandits, assembled at famous Naranag temple this morning and after taking breakfast arranged by 24RR Unit of Indian Army.
Later, they proceeded on foot towards Gangbal. Special Pooja will be held tomorrow.
For the pilgrims, accommodation, security and other basic arrangements have been made by the district administration including police and Army.
