Development of J&K impossible without proper utilisation of mechanical engineering: JKMEGA
Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu and Kashmir Mechanical Engineering Graduates Association (JKMEGA) has applead the Honourable LG Mr Monaj Sinha that the Mechanical Engineering needs Revival , expansion and proper utilisation for development and effective public deliverence in Jammu and Kashmir.
This wing finds its place in all service Departments but unfortunately it always stands treated as service link rather than a widened and full-fledged Adminstrative Deparment .
The Dream of Development of UT of J&K is impossible without proper utilisation of Mechanical engineering in all sectors including R&B,Jal Shakti Deparment , Hospitals ,PDC, Local bodies, Agriculture, Hoticulture, Disaster management etc.
The modern Mechanised era is in great need of expansion and utilisation of Mechanical Engineers in all sectors of PWD, Transport, Health, power Generation, Manufacturing sectors (cement & minerals) , Disaster management, Agriculture and Hoticulture etc .
The JKMEGA president, Er Firdous Bhat expressed that recent committes framed for historic Re-organisation of Engineering wings is a well come step for proper utilisation of different wings of Engineering sector in J&K.
However these committes must include Chief Engineer Mechanical Engineering Departments ( Jammu and Srinagar) as members for ground realities to present ,so that future Mechanism for effective and better public deliverence can be achieved.
The utilisation of Mechanical Engineering is possible only by Expansion of Division’s , Seperate Hydraulic Mechanical Chief Engineer ,Revival of Stores procurement department on modern lines and Seperate Hospital & transport Mechanical wing .
He applauded and praised that Under the dynamic leadership of principal secretary R&B ,Mr Shalinder kumar various historic decisions have been initiated and hope that during his tenure Redressal of long pending issues faced by fraternity like finalisation of seniorities , Regularisation of adhoic promotions,SRO for ACP , transparency and public deliverence seems quite possible .
