Kashmiri Youth Dies Of Heat Stroke In Delhi

Srinagar, June, 02 : A 26-year old youth from Jehangirpora area of Baramulla district in Kashmir tragically passed away in his apartment in New Delhi due to a heatstroke amidst the scorching heatwave in the capital.

Identified as Younis Nazir son of Nazir Ahmad Malla of Jehangirpora Shakwara, he was rushed to DDU hospital after collapsing at his residence near Dwarka metro station, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Employed at HP electronics company in New Delhi, his sudden demise shocked his family.

The autopsy conducted by Dr Nandita Pokhriyal at DDU Hospital attributed the cause of death to cardiac arrest triggered by heat stroke, though the final report awaits the results from the blood sample analysis at FSL, Delhi.

The family has received the body for the final rites after the completion of the autopsy.
