Sopore, April 15: A son allegedly stabbed his mother to death in dangiwachi area of Rafiabad in Sopore area of north Kashmir during the intervening night.
Official sources told Asian News Hub that a 48-year-old woman identified as Asha Begum, W/o Farooq Ahmed wani, a resident of Hadipora Rafiabad was critically injured after being stabbed with a sharp-edged weapon by his own son at home.
They said after the incident, she was brought to SDH Sopore for treatment, where doctors declared her dead.
Police has registered a case in this regard in police station Dangiwachi Sopore and accused has been arrested, they said.
