Family members working in apex institutions of Kashmir protest against nepotism
In an unusual protest that saw hundreds of employees all relatives to each other protesting against the growing menace of nepotism in the valley.
Most of the protesting employees are working in valleys apex institutions and have tirelessly rendered their services to their respective work places.
“Me and my father have always raised our voice against appointing only relative in such institutions that need the services of young and dynamic educated youth. There are only three members of our family working in this institution and despite being on top positions we have never encouraged nepotism in the institution.” said Munir, a protesting employee.
“In a recently announced recruitment process in our institution, my maternal uncle, chaired a meeting at home with all the relatives who are working in this institution and we took a pledge not to allow any relative to score good in the examination, as we have a very good rate of employment in our family and coincidentally we all are working in the same institute. We don’t want any family to suffer the way we do.” Said Ramzan who is head of the department of one of the leading institution of the valley.
In a recently published research by “The Lie Facts, “Kashmir valley is probably the only piece of land on this planet that doesn’t practise “nepotism.”
