A Kashmiri photo-Journalist, Junaid Bhat has decided to donate all the income made out of his videos which he posted live from the spot of incidence in Sopore, where recently a girl ended her life by jumping into the river.

Taking to Facebook, Junaid announced, “Whatever income I got from videos (having more than 1 million views) of recent story related to suicide, I am donating the same to the victim’s family. I request other Facebook page owners and journalists to do the same.”

Urging other journalists to donate their earning made out of monetized videos to the victims family, Junaid received praise and admiration from the netizens with most of them appreciating this brave move of Junaid.

Pertinently, a teenage girl from Jammu Kashmir’s Sopore area allegedly intensely frustrated by the financial condition of her widowed mother ended her life after jumping into the river and is still untraceable after six days of search operation put in place by the local administration and the residents of the area.
